This is my first attempt at a weather radio.

The project uses an Arduino Uno, an Si4707 Weather Band Receiver IC, a 4-channel I2C-safe Bi-directional Logic Level Converter, a Mono 2.5W Amp and an 8ohm 0.5W Mini Metal Speaker.
Results
Successful. Once tuned to the right frequency, I started receiving NOAA weather reports.
Issues
The audio is weak. I probably need to use a stronger amp and or speaker.
Next
I'm going to rebuild this project with a Raspberry Pi.
